Summary

What did we learn?

Now that we've had a thorough examination of the API development life cycle, API governance, and the various API maturity models established by key API-first companies, we should have a good idea of how we can define these for any APIs that we plan to produce for external consumption. An understanding of industry standards will help us take into account how our API customers approach this information and which key pieces of information are required to help them make the decision to use an API product.
