There you have it. You’ve learned that you have a duty as a manager to ensure that you’re giving your staff the best opportunities to be happy, motivated, and able to grow. It’s not about finding the right person for the job. It’s about finding the right job for the person.

Most of the time, this task is achievable with time. You can help people find their groove. However, there are times when this is an impossible task given a particular member of staff and a particular team.
